Step 3 - Add the beak and legs
Cut a pipe cleaner in half, then bend the two halves together to form an upside-down "V." Next, glue them to the back of your plate to make the legs for your love birds.
Cut 2" pieces of pipe cleaner, then bend them in half, and glue them to the top of the plate to make the bird's beak.
Step 4 - Cut out wings
Cut little heart shapes from felt or colored paper to create the wings for your love bird and then glue the hearts sideways on the paper plates to make them look like wings.
Step 5 - Add eyes and decorate your paper plate crafts for kids
Then you'll add some googly eyes to your love bird.
Although these love birds appear perched sideways by adding just one eye, younger children prefer giving their birds two eyes.
